Each visit will be spent caring for each pet. There are many details that go into each pet that you will have on file so you will know what is expected each visit. You must be available holidays, weekends, early mornings as early as 6 AM, mid days, and evenings up to 9 PM.
Pawsitively wonderful visit- 30-45 minute visit from 1 to 4 times a day while family is away.
Potty Break- A visit that is not timed, we give dogs a potty break or potty breaks are used in conjunction with regular visits for cats and dogs.
1 Hour visit- A fun filled playtime visit or walk that is a full hour.
2 Hour block- A fun filled 2 hour block of time that is playtime or walk or just extra love and attention for the pets!
Overnight stay in clients home. Begins at 8 PM (or earlier if you would like) and ends at 6 AM (or later if you would like). No more than 4 nights in a row.
1.) Experience with animals. Must have compassion and respect for animals and people.
2.) Insured vehicle that can transport pets if needed.
3.) Cell phone with texting/picture taking capabilities.
4.) Flexibility of your schedule. Many clients are "last minute" and require same day or with 24 hour service and need availability.
5.) Part time job means this should be a job needed for supplemental income. There is never a guarantee of having visits every day.
6.) Holidays are required work days throughout the year (at least 3 major holidays a year necessary to work).
7.) I ONLY hire people who live in the area so that travel here won't be an obstacle. 85255, 85260 and if you live close to this area in 85258 and 85259.
8.) You have to be responsible, able to think quickly in certain situations, and detail oriented.
9.) This is a great job for a retired person (who does not travel a lot) or a person in need of extra income who has a flexible schedule. If you have a full time job I cannot hire you.
10.) If you have experience working with or at a rescue you might be the perfect candidate! If you are a foster parent for an animal rescue I would be happy to speak with you. Experience with rescue animals is a PLUS!
11.) It will be a requirement to take a Pet CPR class for certification once you are hired.
